The Ring IV Card Preview 11/22/25

Saturday 11/22/25 on DAZN PPV:

David Benavidez vs Anthony Yarde

9:00 PM ET/8:00 PM CT

Who’s Fighting:

David Benavidez (30-0) continues to make the case that he is the next face of boxing. He is young, he can talk and he will beat the living crap out of you. He doesn’t have flashy one punch knockouts instead he beats you up like a 6th grader beating up a 4th grader during recess. He is relentless, mean and never steps off the gas. If Benavidez can get a win here, we should see him against either Beterbiev or Bivol next.

Anthony Yarde (27-3) is fun. I genuinely love watching “the Beast from the East” fight. Yarde is an absolute unit. He punches like a freight train and he will give you every single ounce of energy he has to try and get the W. His three losses are to future HOFer Beterbiev, Lydnon Arthur who is tricky for anyone to deal with and then also future HOFer Sergei Kovalev. There is no shame in those losses.

Why You Should Watch:

This should be a non-stop, throw em down, slugfest. Benavidez has a tendency to start slow which may be Yarde’s best window to bring the fight to him. I expect Yarde to land some massive haymakers, and probably miss a ton too, while Benavidez slowly starts beating the ever-living-hell out of Yarde. I am expecting both fighters to come out as “winners” in the fans eyes.

Devin Haney vs Brian Norman Jr

8:00 PM ET/7:00 PM CT

Who’s Fighting:
We need to start with Brian Norman Jr (28-0) because he is the current champ in this fight. Norman has picked up a ton of speed over the last year when he became one of boxing’s youngest champs. Oh, he also has fast hands and big time knock out speed. In his last fight he knocked out Jin Sasaki so badly that Jin came to and literally didn’t remember an entire month of his life leading up to the Norman fight.

What can be said about Devin Haney (32-0) that hasn’t already been said? Is he one of the absolute best talents in boxing? Yes. Can he adapt his style to outsmart his opponent? Yes. Can Haney annoy the crap out everyone? Yes. Can Haney run around the ring, scared to get touched by a punch? Yes. All of this can be true. This fight is the most important of his career because it will tell us if we will get superstar Haney back or if he is still shell shocked and scared of his own chin from the Ryan Garcia debacle.

Why You Should Watch:

These are the matchups we always are beginning to get. Two, young, uber talented champions fighting in their prime. If Brian Norman Jr can secure the win he becomes a mega star. If he can knock Devin Haney out, he becomes the face of American boxing. On the other side if Haney stands his ground and outguns Norman, shows he is back to his old form, Haney sets himself up for a run of mega fights where he can return as one of the biggest names in all of boxing.

Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez vs Fernando Martinez

7:00 PM ET/6:00 PM CT

Who’s Fighting:

Bam Rodriguez (22-0) is already an all-time great.. And he is only 25 years old. His resume is out of this freaking world. He is one of the boxers that is the most fun to watch. I will always tune in for a Bam fight. Always. Bam is working his way to collecting the scalps of every single good/great fighter in the small weight classes. That means he is setting himself up for a future class against Pound for Pound great Noaya Inoue.

Fernando Martinez (18-0) is a very good fighter. He has been a come forward, punishing, pressure fighter. He has a belt right now and he wants to add more belts to his mantle. There is no doubt that this is an uphill battle for him but if he is smart, gets some respect early from Bam with some good body punches, then he has a chance.

Why You Should Watch:

Bam Rodriguez, Bam Rodriguez, Bam Rodriguez. You will thank me if you haven’t seen him fight yet. Tune in.

Abdullah Mason vs Sam Noakes

6:00 PM ET/5:00 PM CT

Who’s Fighting:

Abdullah Mason (19-0) was one of Top Rank’s best up and coming prospects. He was still years away from champion level fights and super stardom. Then the Keyshawn Davis fight card disaster happens and Abdullah is forced into the spotlight where he showed up he was ready for the moment. If Abdullah can get the win, he will become boxing’s youngest champion at 21 years old. He has the potential to be a Pound for Pound level fighter for the next 10 years.

Sam Noakes (17-0) is a very good boxer. This is his opportunity to step onto the world stage and really make a name for himself. He throws a ton of punches and is all offense. He will try and impose his will early and make the younger Mason pay for any mistakes he makes.

Why You Should Watch:

You need to tune in to see if Abdullah Mason can be the fighter that we think he could be. He has been knocked down already and came back in the same round to get it back. He is young, talented, learning and getting better every fight.
